Workflow

The concept of the Bass Generator is based on 7 sound design steps.

1. Set the main bassline source
2. Set the style of distortion
3. Shape the distortion style to taste
4. Optionally add an extra bassline layer
5. Optionally replace the sub sound with a clean sub sound
6. Optionally play or load an additional bassline layer. Or export your generated distorted bass and continue with it in the sample.
7. Optionally add effects.

Additionally you can play a kick drum to support your bass sound.

System requirements

This Kontakt Instrument requires Native Instruments Kontakt Player or Kontakt Full Edition 7.10.5 or newer.
Works in any DAW and OS that supports Native Instruments Kontakt.

Installation via Native Access
1. Copy your license received upon purchase.
2: Login to Native Access, add the license key via “add serial”. Make sure you also have Kontakt Player (or Kontakt) installed.  Get this for free here.
3: When the license key is correctly entered, you can download the Bass Generator and install it.
Important: when you purchase the Bass Generator, the instrument files are directly included in a purchase so this allows you to do manually install as well if you know how, in stead of having to download from the Native Instruments servers.
4: Start your DAW (Cubase, FL Studio, Logic, Studio One, Ableton, Reaper, etc) and load Kontakt (Player). In the library you’ll find the Bass Generator and all of its presets.

Is it a VST plugin with installer?
No, it is a Kontakt Instrument for which you need NI Kontakt or Kontakt Payer version 7.10.5 or a new version.

Does this work in FL Studio or other DAW?
It works in FL studio as it runs inside Native Instrument Kontakt. Kontakt works in any DAW that supports VST / AU (Cubase, FL Studio, Logic, Ableton Live, Studio One, et cetera).

Can I use the free Kontakt Player mode?
Yes you can.

Will future updates of the instrument be included?
Yes, possible future updates can be downloaded from your Native Access account.

Will this work with my Machine or Komplete Keyboard?
Yes, the instrument is NKS and NKS2 compatible.
